What is the difference between DJI Dock 3 and DJI Dock 2?
DJI Dock 3 is an iterative upgrade of DJI Dock 2, with the following main upgrades compared to the previous generation:
1. IP rating upgraded to IP56.
2. Operating temperature range widened to -30° to 50° C (-22° to 122° F) .
3. Video transmission system upgraded to O4+ Enterprise.
4. Supports vehicle-mounted deployment.
5. With the D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version, site selection of DJI Dock 3 becomes more flexible.
6. Supports quick takeoff, ready to fly as soon as the cover is opened.
7. Lower live view latency for a smoother operation experience.
8. Improved cooling and heating performance of the air conditioner.
What is the minimum interval DJI Dock 3 can recharge the aircraft for a second operation? Can DJI Dock 3 automatically replace the aircraft's battery?
Measured with an ambient temperature of 25° C (77° F) and an aircraft battery level of 15% after landing, it takes 27 minutes to charge the aircraft's battery to 95%. Therefore, the minimum interval between two operations is 27 minutes. DJI Dock 3 does not support automatic battery replacement for the aircraft.
Does DJI Dock 3 support one drone with multiple docks and one dock with multiple drones?
Supports one drone with multiple docks (multi-dock task).
Does not support multiple drones with one dock.
Does DJI Dock 3 support multi-dock tasks?
Yes.
When the dock links with the the D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version, multi-dock tasks are not supported.
Does DJI Dock 3 support edge computing?
Yes, the edge computing module requires an additional external power supply and network connection.
Which drones does DJI Dock 3 support?
